Time tracking
Start, stop, pause, and resume a timer against organizations, projects, and tasks. Idle and offline time are recorded and labeled, never silently dropped.
AslTime is a privacy-first time-tracking and work-verification platform for remote teams and agencies. A lightweight desktop tracker records time against projects and tasks; a web dashboard turns it into timesheets, approvals, and reports — with nothing hidden from the person being tracked.
Free during private beta. macOS & Windows desktop tracker + web dashboard.
Start, stop, pause, and resume a timer against organizations, projects, and tasks. Idle and offline time are recorded and labeled, never silently dropped.
Optional screenshots captured at an organization-configured interval while the timer runs — only while it runs — with role-based access and audited viewing.
Employees submit timesheets; managers approve, reject, or request a correction. Manual time entries are visibly marked and can require approval.
A deterministic, neutral Activity Score based on active vs. idle time — no AI guesswork, no keystroke or mouse logging, no "productivity" judgment of your people.
Daily, weekly, and project time reports plus activity summaries, with CSV export for payroll and client billing.
One account can belong to many organizations with distinct roles. Switch context in the desktop app or the dashboard; every action is tenant-scoped.
AslTime is built to give companies proof of work without becoming invasive surveillance. The things most trackers do quietly, AslTime simply does not do.
A visible tracking indicator, a clear consent notice, and no screen capture when the timer is off. What is tracked, who can see it, and how long it is kept are all shown to the person tracked.
No keystroke logging, no mouse-movement tracking, no webcam, microphone, or clipboard capture, and no full-URL or window-title recording. Data minimization is a hard product rule.
